Is there a way to disable announcing attendee names once the meeting has started? It’s really annoying when meetings are disrupted by people calling in late. What’s worse it that late callers are the norm due to high usage during COVID. If it’s not possible to disable the feature, I want to recommend that the option is added.
Hello! Unfortunately there is no way to turn off the “announce yourself” prompt. We recommend that you mute all callers by pressing *5 as soon as you connect as the host. This will prevent any users from interrupting the host/speaker. Note that users can unmute their own line by pressing *6, this will work great for any guest speakers you may have. Once they are done, they can press *6 to mute their line once more.
Yes! Just disable entry and exit tones and this prompt won’t be played
