Low Bandwidth on connection test

HI we are using the desktop app on Windows 10 64 bit we have been experiencing slow connection speeds while using the desktop app.

We are part of a large worldwide charity and use FCC but it doesn’t seem as smooth as other video conferencing systems.

Clicking ‘check connection’ on the bottom right of the desktop app it shows that the available bandwidth is not correct with Latency: 182ms and bandwidth 868kbs saying too low for joining a meeting.

however when we do a speedtest.net it shows 12ms ping with 200Mbs download and 20Mbs upload, any ideas why the desktop app would be giving such low test results?

speedtest.net by default measures speed to their server nearest to you. This is not where our servers are located. Speedtest allows you to select a server. Please find a server in Lost Angeles and on the next try select service in Frankfurt. These are the main places where we have our servers. Please let us know if speedtest shows substantially different values from what our test shows to you. Please provide screenshots. It would be better if you submit ticket to our customer support about it.
