Meeting weblink forcing to download the app

Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings! :grinning::bouquet:

I recently wanted to conduct a virtual meeting with an important prospect. I shared this weblink FreeConferenceCall.com with him. When he clicked on this link, he was forced to download the desktop app after clicking the “Join” button on my wall & install it whereas he didn’t want to do so. When I tried to use it on my PC, it was forcing me to start the app. There was no option to cancel this. In the process, I lost the prospect.

Kindly suggest what to do in such situations.

When you click on the meeting link, or click “Join online meeting” it will give you a choice to download the app or use Web version

Thanks, @ekanatkin for replying. I strongly suggest that the option of “Use Web Version” also be made bold, maybe In the same style as “Launch Meeting in App” but in a different colour or style so that nobody misses it.
