Hello,

I tried searching but could not find the answer I require.

Is it possible to upload names and contacts from an excel or google sheet. This would make life so much easier.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have a feature in our system that allows you to upload names and contacts from an excel sheet or google sheet.

Currently, the only way to associates a phone number with specific names is to edit the participant’s name as you have a live conference. During your conference, you can log in to your Web Controls to edit a participant’s name. You can follow the instructions below to edit names.

  1. Log into account at https://www.FreeConferenceCall.com/login
  2. Select Meeting Wall tab at the top of the page
  3. From the drop-down menu select Web Controls
  4. Next to each participants phone number will be a Pencil icon
  5. Selec Pencil icon to edit the name.

I will suggest the type of feature to our development team and see if that can be a possible feature in the future.

Are these changes persistent? Meaning will the names show up in the subsequent calls? Or do they have to be changed for every call. Seems like a simple to implement basic feature. If number then name sort of thing.

Yes, these changes are persistent for that particular phone number.
